I have been passionate about gardening from an early age. I trained at Kingston Maurward College, Dorchester where I achieved First Diploma, National Certificate and National Diploma in Horticulture as well as NTPC certificates of competence in Chainsaw Operations and Use of Pesticides. I was then employed by Lees & Co Wholesale Nursery in Hampshire as Propagation Supervisor for 15 months where I gained an in depth knowledge of all plant species. Since then I have worked for the last 10 years at a variety of levels at a number of large private estates, including 2 years at RHS Wisley where I gained the Practical Diploma in Horticulture.

As well as managing The Potting Shed, I am currently Head Gardner at a large private estate in Dorset.
